Tucker signed up for Tball this year for the first time! He was way excited to play and was even more excited that Ethan (our neighbor) was on our team! T-Ball was fun to watch! Tucker improved so much from the beginning of the season to the end of the season.
Tucker was one special kid and had lots of fans to come and watch! Some of the fans were; grandpa payne, grandpa engle, Logan, jayme, Jadyn, Cooper, kyson, Kenzie, shea, lance and the chaston clan.

We went camping with the Chastons to baker reservoir. The reservoir was nice and fun to swim but the fishing wasn't the best. Plus we had bugs all over!

This year we celebrated Easter with the Engles! Rick and I choose to do have it at our house! We cooked counrty boil and then had an easter egg hunt in our back yard.

Wrestling 2011

Tuckers wrestling for the year is now over! He went to most of the practices but we only let him go to two wrestling matches the one at Cedar High School and the other one at Canyon View High School.

Wrestling this year was hard on rick and I because we didn't understand any wrestling moves or rules. We were laid back and the only thing we knew was that to teach him not to let them on his back. The first tournament, once they got him on his back he just gave up. The second tournament when they got him on his back he turned onto his stomach.

I was so proud watching him wrestle. Hopefully next year rick and I can learn a little bit more so that we are able to help him.

Tucker had his first wrestling tournament on March 12, 2011. Rick and I were a little nervous about him wrestling. First I don't enjoy wrestling but Tucker had begged and so i gave it a try. Second Tucker never acted like he knew what he was doing. He did a great job. Tucker was still kinda confused but we are proud of him!

My Parents, Caleb and Caliber came down for the night in March. We went swimming, played games, had root beer floats and visited. Tucker and caliber slept down stairs and they were way excited to have a sleepover!

Monster Jam Weekend

We stayed at the Salt lake City/Murray hampton inn for the weekend of monster jam and had a great time! we swam alot! During this weekend Skippy pushed Ricky~bobby into the swimming pool, Ricky was fully dressed!

We got most of the family together to go up north and watch monster jam! Tucker loved monster jam but hated the long breaks in between everything! If the trucks were going then he enjoyed the show! Tuckers favorite part of monster jam was when grave digger wrecked!!

It was a fantastic february for our family!

It snowed in February and Tucker went and helped the neighbor make a snowman. She put food coloring in a spray bottle and they painted the snowman. What a cute blue snowman.

This was the first year that Tucker was able to write his name on valentines!

Tucker got to pick out this birdhouse from the store and then he choose two colors to paint it and he choose green and orange! He did a great job!

Recipe Challenge

I have been participating in weekly challenges at a bowl full of lemons. This weeks challenge was recipes.

I took all my recipes and went through them. I typed up the main recipes that I use and put them in sheet protectors in a 3 ring binder.

Then i created title pages for the categories that I like:
Drinks
Bread
Main dish
Side Dish
Desserts
etc.

I also have a section on favorite recipes, and page number from the cookbooks that I have on my shelf. This way I don't have to go searching, I just have them all right there.

I used family photos on the pages that divide!!

Here is my shelf in my kitchen that holds my cookbooks. The Basket on the shelf holds the recipes that I need to finish getting typed and also little books that are two small to go on the shelf!

Here is a copy of two recipes that I like! I am typing them as I use them in this format!

We were able to have Lance over to our house for the day while Kenz was recovering from surgery and shea was working!!!

Tucker and lance played so well together!!! The favorite thing to do was play outside in the snow. Tucker pulled Lance around in the wagon a couple of times!! Lance enjoyed eating the snow more than anything!

Yes we are crazy!!! We got another dog, She is a english bulldog and blue heeler mix. Just so everything is clear, she is not my dog...she is RICKYS dog!! He name her Annie after Annie oakley!!!

Funny thing about Annie is she is very much like Rick, so the saying is true that pets are like their owners. She is very mellow, likes to lay down with no one touching her.

We got Annie on January 15, 2011. She was born Decemer 11, 2010!

New Years eve 2010

For new years we went to the aquatic center with some family and friends to celebrate the new year. They had rented the pool for 2 hours and then we had pizza and just played. Tucker was gone in a second the minute we got his life jacket on!! Tucker and cooper played really well together during the party.

Tucker had a second tumbling recital, after the performance they got to visit santa. here is Tucker with santa. The whole time we were in line he kept saying "that isn't the real santa." So here is Tucker and the Fake Santa!

The weather was so nice and warm, that Tucker took his baby, his pillow, blanket, and book and layed out on the lawn in the sun. I can't believe how warm it has been!

One of my favorite things about thanksgiving in monroe is getting the Christmas Tree!!! My family all heads to the mountain (Different spots each year) to chop down a Christmas tree!!! The ride to get the trees was very enjoyable!! Rick and I rode with my sister and her husband, while all the little boys, rode with caleb and my dad!

This year my dad found our tree, cut it down and even brought it to my house! What a great dad!!!

First Tumbling performance

Tucker has his first tumbling performance in November! I was worried that he would actually behave up there on stage. Tucker surprised me and did a great job! Grandma & Grandpa Payne drove 2 hours to watch a 5 minute performance but we are grateful and happy that they could come.

There is one part in the performance that tucker was suppose to run and do a somersault over the teacher but instead Tucker jumped over teacher and then did the somersault. He stole the shows each time he did this! I will hopefully get the video uploaded onto my blog so you all can see!

I love the month of October and I love Halloween.
Tucker was luck to take treats to school the day before Halloween. Tucker chose sugar cookies and I was excited so we make pumpkin sugar cookies! I did the black outlines on the cookie but tucker colored the inside. Tucker did a great job coloring! We had lots of fun!

Deer Hunt

This year both Rick and I drew out for the deer hunt! I was so excited because I love to go hunting with my family! The other good thing was that Rick and I have never been hunting together. The bad part about the hunt was that I never got a picture of the hunt! Maybe next time.

This deer hunt was different, instead of camping we planned on just going out each morning. At first I was bummed about this due to that was a tradition, but it turned out to be good.

We left Tucker with my mom so that they could spend the day together. Rick, my dad and I left from my parents house and then Logan was coming from Cedar and was meeting us on the mountain.

Rick got his deer first thing around 8:10 am. I didn't get mine until we were on our way home! There was lots and I mean lots of excitement this deer hunt.

In the end we eneded up with two 2 points! Mine is wider, but ricks is taller.

I am thankful for my dad and brother Logan who took us hunting!

My Parents have had this wild turkey running around in their yard and neighborhood. We came down to go hunting and this turkey jumped right out in front of the truck while we were driving down the yard. Tucker and I took a couple of photos of the turkey in grandma and grandpa's yard!

I can't believe how warm it is in the middle of October! Tucker has been helping us mow the lawn all summer long and he wanted to do it all by himself. So rick let him! Tucker did a good job!! People probably thought we were crazy to allow ourselves to let a 5 year old mow the lawn, but we did!!!

Our New Car

we bought our first car!!! I have never been this excited about something! I loved my little ranger but it just wasn't big enough for our family of three. Tucker was getting car sick from setting sideways in the back. Then if the three of us sat up front we felt squished plus isn't wasn't safe for Tucker to be in the front.

We were able to get this car at a good price with trading in our truck and have some cash. We ended up only have to get a very small loan!

I am way excited to have a four door car and also a CD player!

This summer we went camping a couple times with our friends. We went up on Cedar mountain, Tropic, and then back to cedar mountain.

Tuckers cousins gage & Caliber both have dirt bikes. Tucker has rode Calibers a few time but we keep telling him he can't have one until he is 5!!

Well we found a dirt bike (the one we wanted) and bought it! We were thinking about saving it for his birthday but that was 5 months away. Rick and I both new that we couldn't keep it a secret about the bike. So we had jessica bring it to Grandma Paynes for easter.

When we took Tucker outside to show him that he got a dirt bike, we don't think he understood that the bike was his. He deffiently was ready to ride it but didn't understand that it got to go home with us.

Easter this year was spent in Monroe. We went out on poverty flat with the paynes. Easter is one of my favorite holidays because we all just get together and hang out!

We colored easter eggs at Grandma's house! This year we did it late at night when everyone was tired so they sat pretty good at the table.

We were watching Aquaman just yesterday and out of the blue tucker turns to me and says "Mom do your hair like her" I wasn't sure who he was talking about and it turned out to be Aquamanas wife.

Then when Rick came into the room he talked about cutting tuckers hair and Tucker replied "No i want my hair like aquaman to cover one of my eyes"

Rick and I couldn't quit laughing!!! Tucker has never mentioned how he wanted his hair done a certain way. I told Tucker that I would let him grow his hair like aquaman, we will see if it ever really happens!

This year we went to Grandma & Grandpa Paynes house for Christmas eve and Christmas day. Caleb had caliber for christmas eve and christmas morning.

Rick and I cooked dinner for everyone on christmas eve. Then we all decorated cookies for santa. We went and looked at light. Caliber and Tucker opened a gift which was pjs.

Then christmas morning we all woke up and opened gifts. Tucker was excited but i also think he was still confused on the whole christmas thing. Anytime you would ask him if he was ready for christmas he would say "It is christmas time".

I have wondered where santa was in the line of how important he was to Tucker and I found out!!!

Tucker wasn't behaving so I said "If you don't behave santa isn't coming to your house" and to my shocking reply from tucker this is what he said "I don't care Grandma payne is!!"

I learned very quick that Grandma Payne is more important than Santa to a four year old!!!!

Then we went out looking at lights and saw 8 deer running down the middle of the street! Tucker was laughing because santas reindeer had gotten away from him! Tucker insisted on following them and calling santa!! So we followed them and got santas message machine (Grandma paynes) and tucker left his message!

I have been a slacker about updating my post! Here is a couple of things that have happened the last few months.

Here is Jadyn and Tucker enjoying some smores. We had my brother logan and his family, Kenzie and her family come out to three peaks and cook hot dogs and have homemade smores for family home evening! We had a great time!!

For our family vaction this year we went to the zoo, lagoon and Bear lake! We had such a good time with my family! We also were able to spend the night at my sisters house and hang out with them! For some reason this weekend tucker clung to caleb a lot! Thanks for putting up with him!

While Caleb was waiting to go on a ride Rick & I took Tucker and Caliber to play in the water. Tucker was smart and put his face close to the hole to see how it worked and by the time rick and I made it over there the water was shooting out. At first i thought for sure that Tucker's eye would have damage but luckly it hurt for three minutes. Then we got tired of playing in the water and went to get them a slushie once caleb came. As we were setting on a bench tucker was complaining about it his leg burning we assumed its because he had touched the hot bench. Then his leg was red and swelling. Tucker got stung by a bee. We celebrated Tuckers birthday in Monroe on the 24th weekend with the paynes. We did it with Kole mills for a combined birthday party. Tucker was turning 4 and Kole is turning 3. We did a cowboy theme for their birthdays! We had cupcakes to look like horses, had stick horse races, cowboy boot pinata! It was a fun filled day. Tucker didn't even care to open his presents we had to have Grandma Payne force him to open them. He enjoyed the party!

We couldnt have any better family than Zac & Kenzie Engle!! They called yesterday to see if Tucker wanted to play! We asked Tucker and of course it was a "YES" and he just couldn't wait until 5 for Kenzie to come and get him.

Tucker changed his clothes so that he looked good to go with kenzie!!!

Then we ran into town and Kenzie came to get Tucker while we were at Grandma Engles, well Tucker waited outside in the driveway on one of grandma engles lawn chairs for Kenzie to arrive. Each Time a car would drive by he would say "that my kenzie".

Finally Kenzie arrived and Tucker got the biggest grin on his face he just couldn't wait to be with her. He was so excited that he wouldn't give me a kiss or a hug goodbye without beggin him to.

Then when Kenzie and Zac brought him back at 10:30 ish. Tucker couldn't quit talking about them until he fell asleep. When he woke up this morning he wanted to go and see Zac and kenzie.

We just wanted to let zac and kenzie know that we are truely thankful to have you a part of our lives. Everytime that you come around you make our day because tucker gets so happy to see you!!! We truely believe that there is a special bond between you two and tucker!

Thanks for allowing him to play and hopefully get to do it again!!

Five years ago today Rick and I got married in my parents backyard!! Our first five years has had both ups and downs. Atleast we have been through both the us and downs together. So heres to the first 5 years and heres to the next 5 years together! I love you Ricky!!!

Tucker like to paint his toes nails and rick gets mad at him everytime that he does it. Well Tucker and I normal sneak and get his toes paint and they by the time the color is almost worn off is when Rick notices them. One day I decided that he could do it. I made tucker set outside on the steps and let him paint his toes.

We went to Tropic for a family reunion that Cami put together again!!! This time it was for the Clark side. During the reunion there was a lot of activites to do including; bike riding, four-wheeling, rodeo, watching fireworks, parade, visiting and much more.

For memorial Day we went to Monroe to Hang out with my family. While we were there tucker got to do something for the first time.

Ricks daughter had her baby today June 14, 2009. They named him Lance Cardon Esplin. He was 8 lbs 20 1/2 inches long. Head full of black hair (That matched Zac's) and very beautiful! Baby is doing great and kenzie had a long hard delivery that we hope that she will be fill better soon.

New Year Resolutions

Here is an update on my goals:
#1 Get out of debit-Well we are still working on the little debit but we added a big debit (a realistic) that is buying a house. So because we have had to move and all the fun stuff we haven't done hardly anything with our (Stupid) debit. Hopefully we will get more done next month!

#2 Be healthy-I haven't been going to the gym lately, but I am going to start back up on Monday. I have been going a walk each night with Tucker and the dogs! haven't done very well with this one.

#3 Organize my recipes-With moving I haven't had time to do this!

#4 Scrapbook- This one has been a no go. Because it was the first room boxed up and will be the last room unboxed.

#5 De-Clutter my house and Garage- This one I have done. We have took two truck loads to the DI of things we don't need or want. Also I havve been trying to wear all my clothes and get rid of the ones that I want! So Yeah this was a good job!

#7 Have more date nights with rick. We haven't actually been on an offical date but we did plant the garden just the two of us. We have went on walks, little things we have done just the two of us so I think that counts.

#8 Be more organized- I am working on this one. If it doesn't have a home or a use then I am getting rid of it!!!

#9 Go on a family vacation- Ok so we won't have the money this year to go on the vacation so we will try and go camping for a couple of days to make it count

#10 Finish my moms photos. I haven't even touched them in over a month.

#11 Read more books. I am reading a book right now and hopefully we will be reading more this come up June.

So I haven't done very well with my new years resolutions but I will get back to them! So Check out next month!

My Birthday

HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO ME!!!!

This year my birthday started out as a really bad day. So I was just hoping to make it through the day and to forget my birthday but it turned out better in the long run.

My mom and Kenzi (Ricks daughter) both bought me flowers!!! This brightened my day. My mom, I can always count on getting me something because she is the best!! Thank you mom. Kenzie, this is the first year she has actually remembered me on my birthday and that made it a great day. Also kenzie said it right "Since rick won't buy you flowers we did" So thank you Kenzie this really made me day!!!

Then Rick was feeling bad for being such a terriable husband!!! He made me a birthday cake!! And Tucker decorated it! I think it turned out to be one of the best cakes!

My family that is reading this do you remember when we made mom a cake and used salt and pepper shakers to hold it up!!! This cake made me think of that!!

The day turned out to be a pretty good day!!! Thank you mom for always being there when I need someone. Thank you Kenzie for remembering me on my birthday for the first time! And Rick for making an effort! Last but not least Tucker for the awesome decorating job!

Busy Busy Busy...

We got the keys to our house yesterday!!!! We went and got our water and everything put in our name and turned on so we can start to clean the house up.

I just wanted to let everyone know that you are all more than welcome to come and help clean our new house!!!!

Also this next little bit we are going to be really busy!!! Between working and cleaning the house!

OUR HOUSE

In our spare time and our coke drives we drive around looking at houses to buy. One day I decided to just to call and see about getting a loan. My mom suggested Coal Creek Mortgage. Bryce helped me to get my loan going really good and quick. Then we called and talked to Karen at Century 21. Things just got going and karen and mike were getting us a bunch of houses with the requirements that we wanted to have in our house. We scheduled some weekdays and some weekends so that we could have the professionals; my mom and dad go with us to look at houses.

Well to make a long story short we just closed on our house!!! I am way excited for this house!!!! I love it!!!

New Me

Today I went and had Kenzie Engle cut my hair. I normally don't enjoy getting my hair cut but I do enjoy visiting with Kenzie! I told kenzie that I wanted to still be able to pull my hair up in a pony tail but to also have it short. This is what we came out with!!! (sorry the photos aren't the best, my hair is looks better in person)

The Blanket

I have never made a blanket by myself. I have helped my mom tie blankets buts that the most I have done. Back in middle school my mom taught me how to make a pillow case. Yesterday I got a wild hair and decided to finally make the pillow case for Tucker to take to school. Tuckers blanket and bag are trains, so I bought train material to match. So I firt made the pillow case without any problems then I decided that I wanted to keep going and so I made a blanket.

I know that the blanket isn't the best but hey for doing it all by myself an no one showing me how to bind here is the blanket!
